This web page covers the "Service Description" for WebLogix Email. WebLogix Email is also subject to WebLogix Customer Terms and Conditions.
Your use of our Services after each update of our web pages shows your unconditional agreement to the terms and conditions as set out below.
- WebLogix Email
You can access your WebLogix email account through WebLogix Webmail, or through WebLogix's Internet access services or through other email access or hosting services provided by WebLogix.
Your email storage limit is 100MB. You can send & receive messages up to 20MB.
You must manage your WebLogix email mailbox to keep below your storage limit of 100MB or 1000 emails (whichever is reached first). If you exceed your email storage limit, we may delete messages and attachments from your mailbox and you may not receive any new email until you are below your storage limit.
Unread email will be stored for 60 days, then automatically deleted after that time. Any read emails will be stored for 30 days, then be automatically deleted.
All emails that are deleted or moved to the trash folder will be stored for 7 days and deleted after that time.
There is a limit of 99 email addresses per email message, to help reduce the risk of spam. It is important to check that email sent complies with this limit as you will not receive any notification that an email has not been delivered in this case.
When using WebLogix's email services over a wireless connection your WebLogix User Name and Password may not be encrypted when you enter them to log into these services. You use such services solely at your own risk and should take all reasonable steps available to you to minimise the risk.
WebLogix will not be responsible or liable for deletion or your inability to deliver, retrieve or store emails or other information.
While WebLogix endeavours to provide a seamless email delivery network, occasionally you may experience email delivery delays or failure that could be attributed to many factors including factors outside of WebLogix's control. WebLogix does not provide any guaranteed delivery or provide any compensation for any email delivery problems you may experience.
- Remote Email
In most cases, Remote Email enables you to pop your email into your mail client (e.g. Outlook) from any Internet connection and from any device such as a laptop, PDA or smart device with a mail client.
In some cases some corporate environments or home security products may restrict your ability to access or use Secure Remote Email service. This is because some security settings use a firewall which blocks certain ports required to use the service.
- Anti-Virus Filter
While WebLogix's anti-virus email filter is designed and maintained to catch known and detectable viruses carried within email attachments, WebLogix does not guarantee or otherwise represent that all email viruses will be detected and/or removed.
A virus carried within email attachments may not be detected or removed for a variety of reasons including (without limit) new viruses for which the virus signature has not yet been made available to WebLogix or the email message being in a compressed file or encoded/encrypted format not able to be detected or stopped by WebLogix's anti-virus email filter system.
WebLogix's anti-virus email filter only scans email attachments that pass through WebLogix's mail servers, therefore it only scans email attachments being sent to or from WebLogix mailboxes.
WebLogix's anti-virus email filter is provided as part of WebLogix's Internet access service and is governed by WebLogix's applicable terms and conditions, including WebLogix's standard Terms of Service for Residential or Business customers (whichever is applicable), Terms for Internet Access and the WebLogix anti-virus email filter description above.
- Changing this policy
We may, at our discretion, update or revise this policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately once they are posted on our Web site. It is your responsibility to check this policy regularly for any modifications or updates. Your continued use of the Services after any changes have been posted on our Web site indicates your acceptance of those changes
