WebLogix Testimonials

QuoteEngine Testimonial What made you choose to work with WebLogix?
Initially we were impressed with the other success stories WebLogix has been involved in. Having spoken to the WebLogix team we knew our dream was in safe hands. They understood what we wanted to achieve and explained to us in layman's terms (supported by professional specification documents and realistic estimates) how we were going to achieve our goals. The quality of the documentation was second to none. We were confident from the very start about how much the entire project would cost us - and they stuck to it!

How did WebLogix take your unique idea and turn it into reality? WebLogix understood what we wanted to achieve and supported us with their experience on ways we could make our idea reality. They took the time to explain how we were going to get there, whether it was over the phone, or in person. Our dream turned into reality within 3 months of our initial meeting with WebLogix. Thorough testing was carried out with minor cosmetic changes. This was a direct result of the systematic analysis of business requirements mapped out by the WebLogix team.

What was the most important requirement/objective of your website? Keep it simple! We had a clear goal of what service we wanted the site to provide and WebLogix supported us on its achievement.

Because of the unique nature of QuoteEngine, were there particular challenges associated with building/designing your website? Yes, we had no website development experience. This service does not exist in New Zealand, therefore we relied on the experience of WebLogix team to guide us through the site security, branding, well everything really.

How did WebLogix respond to those challenges? The team supported us confidently through the whole process, where we had a question they were patient with support. As this was an idea grown at home, we did not have a business financially supporting the initiative. WebLogix was aware of out budget restrictions and supported us on the achievement of a very professional, easy-to-use site, well within the budget guidelines we set.

Did WebLogix make suggestions about better ways of doing things? What were they? Yes absolutely, and we relied on WebLogix team experience for this. One suggestion that springs to mind: often we got caught up in having every piece of functionality built into the site, and it was good to have the WebLogix team to ask “Do you really need that?” rather than just add it anyway.

Because of your business, your website needed to be highly functional and easy to use. How did WebLogix help you achieve this? The team take the time to ask us questions and listen, to ensure they understanding our market. We consider the WebLogix team as partners, and we are confident based on working with each team member that the team take us seriously and genuinely want us to succeed.

What impact has the website had on your business so far? The site is reliable in regard to performance, and secure yet user-friendly. All feedback has been to commend us on the look and feel, and if anything, because we are a totally web based business, the whole experience has been totally enjoyable.

NZRIA Testimonial What made you choose to work with WebLogix?
One of our Executive committee members, Peter Wethey from Pizazz had used WebLogix for his new website and recommended you.

What was it about the previous site that needed to be updated or improved?
It needed a more ‘design feel’ to better promote our association and who we are within the industry. It needed to be more about our members and the projects they are involved in, with a big emphasis on large image galleries.

What were the unique challenges associated with building/designing your website?
All 12 of the executive committee had their own thoughts and ideas on what needed to be included in the new website, so it was a challenge in itself taking all of their ideas and merging them together.

How did WebLogix respond to those challenges?
They were very patient and precise in making sure they understood every inch of the brief.

Did WebLogix make suggestions about better ways of doing things?
Yes.

What were they?
They suggested they we go with a non-content management system to keep the design aspect of our website more streamlined.

Because of your business, your website needed to be design focussed. How did WebLogix help you achieve this?
They closely followed the brief and took into account some design aspects of other websites that I liked, to come up with a site that looks fantastic.

Sugar International Testimonial What made you choose to work with WebLogix?
We started from a blank slate and began sourcing various web-design companies via the Internet. Understanding business, we were able to sum up very quickly which companies would be effective, work with us and ensure a positive delivery. When we met the WebLogix team, we saw the passion they have in their work, and we knew we would be in good hands.

How did WebLogix take your ideas for your site and turn them into reality?
They listened. We were starting from scratch – our company was in a transition period and reestablishing its identity. We knew what we wanted to convey and we knew what we didn’t want. WebLogix took our needs and ran with them. Extremely responsive, the company ensured we were happy with the designs, layout and functionality from start to finish.

What was the most important requirement/objective of your website?
Conveying our breadth of services to various customers. There was a lot of back-and-forth between our two companies but WebLogix responded very well and allowed for last minute changes and alterations.

What were the unique challenges associated with building/designing your website?
Functionality, in short. We needed a site that was aesthetically pleasing and aligned with our vision, with the potential to become an interactive portal for us to communicate with our customers. This will be an ongoing process but the foundations have been formed and I am sure we will continue working with WebLogix as our company grows.

How did WebLogix respond to those challenges?
Once again, listening and acting. We worked with a great team (sometimes late into the night) and saw results. The whole ‘work with, not work for’ mentality really came into play when discussing functionality and minor changes throughout the development. If we wanted something that could be done better another way, WebLogix spoke up from experience.

Did WebLogix make suggestions about better ways of doing things?
Yes. Aesthetically and functionally – we had some good sessions where we bounced ideas off each other. Very helpful!

Because of your business, your website needed to speak to a range of visitors. How did WL help you achieve this?
By allowing for changes to the site map. By suggestions to the sitemap through brainstorming and visual layouts, and visually as well.

What impact has the website had on your business so far?
It’s had an incredibly positive response. It’s given us the pleasure of directing clients to our site.
